Vezo

...They are pastoral people who raise cattle, but the Sakalava and Mahafaly have formed kingdoms. The Vezo, who live on the west coast, are engaged in fishing. The Antakaranas, who live in the mountains at the northern end of the island, are the most black of the inhabitants of Madagascar, and raise cattle, but those who live on the coast use outrigger canoes and engage in fishing.
