Vesper

In Greek mythology, the maidens who lived in a garden at the western edge of the world. Their name means "daughters of the evening star (Hesperos in ancient Greek, cognate with Vesper in Latin)." They are said to be daughters of Nyx ("night") or the Titan god Atlas, and there are various theories about their number, with some saying it was three, four, or seven.
