The expedition included Gerard Friedrich Müller (1705-83), Johann Georg Gmelin (1709-55), Steller, I. Fischer, L. de Lille from France, J. I. Lindenau from Sweden, and many Russians, including Krasheninnikov. Famous works published included Müller's History of Siberia (1750), Gmelin's Voyages in Siberia (4 volumes, 1751-52), Steller's Journal of Kamchatka (1774), and Krasheninnikov's Journal of Kamchatka (2 volumes, 1755). …
