Mustache

…Tigers, lynx, river boar, ruffed lemurs, drills, langurs, and other animals have whiskers that run from under the ears to the throat. Emperor tamarins also have long whiskers that look just like Kaiser's whiskers, but unlike human whiskers, they are not secondary sexual characteristics, and both males and females develop similar whiskers. [Cultural History]
In Japanese, the word for the part of the body that grows the hair is combined with the word <beard> to call it a lip beard, chin beard, or cheek beard, and is not expressed as a separate word like m(o)ustache (mustache), shu (beard), or zen (whisker(s)).
