...If Finland is included, it is called Fennoscandia. From a humanistic point of view, Finland and Iceland are sometimes discussed together, in which case it is also called Norden (Northern Europe). This region stretches from the Jutland Peninsula, north of 50° north latitude, to 71°45′ north latitude in the north, facing the North Sea to the south, the Norwegian Sea to the west, the Barents Sea to the north, and the Gulf of Bothnia and the Baltic Sea to the east.
