From the 18th century onwards, especially during the Tulip Period, French culture flowed in under the reign of Louis XV, and the Rococo style appeared in various fields such as architecture, clothing, painting, and music, and its quintessential style was seen in the Nuruosmaniye Mosque (completed in 1755). In 1853, when the Baroque-style Dolmabahçe Sarayı, a new palace built along the Bosphorus, was completed, the court moved there.
