Kinzig

…The Rhine is a region of the Rhine that is formed by the Rhine rift valley, with a steep slope to the Upper Rhine plain in the west, and a gentle slope to the east, where it reaches the Neckar River and continues to the Schwäbische Alp. The area south of the Kinzig River is mainly composed of gneiss and granite, and there are traces of glacial erosion in the higher areas. On the other hand, the Mesozoic red sandstone that covers the basement of the Rhine is well preserved to the north of the Kinzig River.
