A town in Ama District, Aichi Prefecture. A suburban residential area bordering the west of Nagoya City. Formerly an agricultural region, the number of houses has increased, factories have moved in, and urbanization is progressing. The Nagoya Second Ring Road runs through the town. 6.59 km2 . Population: 29,891 (2010).
