EMU - EMU
European Monetary Union : Economic and monetary integration of the EU (European Union). Based on the EMS (European Monetary System), it aims to achieve economic and financial integration in three stages: participation of all EU member states in the EMS, establishment of a European Central Bank, and issuance of a single currency. It was launched in 1992. 《European Monetary Union》EU（欧州連合）の経済通貨統合。EMS（欧州通貨制度）を基盤に、EU全加盟国のEMS参加・欧州中央銀行の設立・単一通貨発行の三つの段階に分けて、経済・金融面の統合を図ろうというもの。1992年発足。1998年に欧州中央銀行が設立され、2002年1月1日から欧州単一通貨ユーロの流通がスタートした。
