...Body length 52-120cm, tail length 36-50cm, weight 4-13kg. It is intermediate between the Canis and Vulpes genus, and is also called the Culpeo fox because its tail is thick and long like that of a fox. However, in South America, it is the second largest species after the maned wolf, and is much larger than a fox and has a different body shape, with a long snout and large ears, resembling a coyote or jackal.
