Citropsis

Japanese: Citropsis
Citropsis

[Origin and spread]
Plants of the subfamily Rutaceae, which includes citrus fruits, are distributed in India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Africa, but were not native to the Americas or Europe. The genus Citropsis , which is thought to be the ancestor of citrus fruits, is only found on the African continent. Primitive forms of citrus fruits such as papedas are distributed on the Indian continent, but the genera Citrus, Fortune Orange, and Trifoliate Orange are not native to Australia, and the closely related genera Microcitrus and Eremocitrus are distributed there.
