Ryozen Shrine

Located in Oishi, Reizen-cho, Date City, Fukushima Prefecture. Kitabatake Chikafusa, Akiie, Akinobu, and Morichika are enshrined here. This area was a strategic location, the base of the Kitabatake clan, who served as assistants to Emperor Godaigo. In 1817 (Bunka 14), Matsudaira Sadanobu erected the Reizen Monument, and in the early Meiji period, Nakagawa Setsudo and others from the former Yonezawa Domain proposed the founding of a shrine, which was established in 1881 (Meiji 14). Formerly a special government-sponsored shrine. Annual festival days are April 29th and Sports Day in October. The celadon plate on the shrine's property is a prefecturally designated important cultural property. The sacred mountain is designated as a national historic site and place of scenic beauty, and the area around the shrine site is a prefectural natural park.

福島県伊達(だて)市霊山町大石(おおいし)に鎮座。北畠親房(きたばたけちかふさ)・顕家(あきいえ)・顕信(あきのぶ)・守親(もりちか)を祀(まつ)る。この地は後醍醐(ごだいご)天皇を輔佐(ほさ)した北畠氏が拠点とした要害の地であり、1817年（文化14）には松平定信(さだのぶ)が霊山碑を建立、明治初年に旧米沢(よねざわ)藩の中川雪堂(せつどう)らが神社創祀(そうし)を提唱し、1881年（明治14）に創建された。旧別格官幣社。例祭日は4月29日、10月のスポーツの日。所有の青磁皿は県指定重要文化財。霊山は国の史跡・名勝、鎮座地付近は県の自然公園に指定されている。
