The protagonist of a fairy tale. A boy who had a first dream of the year was chased away from his home for not telling anyone about good dreams, but he eventually married into two wealthy families and visited each family for two weeks at a time, building a golden bridge. Various similar stories are found from Aomori Prefecture to Okinawa Prefecture, such as the boy being banished to Demon Island or Dragon Palace, where he is given treasures such as a living stick and a listening ear.
