1068〜1123 Emperor Taizu, the first emperor of the Jin dynasty (reigned 1115-23) Chief of the Wanyan tribe of the Jurchen people. He pacified the surrounding areas, established his capital in Huining Prefecture, and named his country Jin. He organized the country and established a centralized system, while at the same time allied with the Song Dynasty to conquer the Liao Dynasty and occupy Yanjing (present-day Beijing), but died of illness shortly thereafter.
