Mojave Desert

A desert located in southern California, United States, south of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Death Valley. It occupies the southern end of the Great Basin. It covers an area of ​​approximately 70,000 square kilometers and is 600 meters above sea level. The annual precipitation is 70-100 mm, and the daytime temperature in summer is 21-51°C. The river that originates in the San Bernardino Mountains is the Suenashi River, which disappears in the desert and forms a salt lake. Mountains and valleys are distributed in parallel in multiple layers, and the city of Los Angeles is nearby, separated by the mountain range.
