One of the ryo-seikanshi (offices of officials). It can be read as "Maryo" or "Umanotsukasa" and in Chinese it was called Tenkyu (official stables). There were two dormitories on the left and right, and they were in charge of raising and training the official horses in the stables, distributing horse equipment and grains for the Imperial Court, and registering the names of the households of the shibu (feeding staff). The staff consisted of four officials: one head, one assistant, one daijo, one junior officer, one daisakan, and one junior officer. Under them were two veterinary surgeons, 60 mebu (feeding staff), 20 messengers, two direct attendants, and a shicho (feeding staff) for the miscellaneous households.
