〘Noun〙① (Abbreviation of "muraukeshinden (muraukeshinden)") In the Edo period, new fields that were contracted for development under the responsibility of the village. 〘名〙① (「むらうけしんでん（村請新田）」の略) 江戸時代、村方の責任で開発を請負った新田。また、その開発を請負うこと。原則として開発後三～五年間は免租され、検地や石盛もゆるいのを普通とした。※財政経済史料‐二・経済・開墾・新田開発・明和九年（1772）四月日「都て田畑開発之儀願人有_レ之、吟味之上村請相願候得ば、村請にも申付候得共」② 江戸時代、村の責任で出した、年貢、諸役、禁止令などの請書をいう。※王滝村留帳‐寛政三年（1791）「前条御触（野火再禁）拝見之上は村請（書）福島之御差出方」③ (「むらうけやま（村請山）」の略) 江戸時代、村方の責任で御林の伐木などを請負った山。また、それを請負うこと。※王滝村留帳‐享保一八年（1733）「亥年村請候鯎川山残代金拾八両三分弐朱清五郎上松江持参候」
