A collection of haiku poems. Compiled by Ohara Chiharu. Published by Terada Shigenori in 1682 (Tenwa 2). One volume on half-sized paper. The title comes from the editor's haiku, "As expected, the maid Musashi's behavior as she picked the cherry blossoms is beautiful," and refers to the new haiku style in Edo. The editor, who traveled from Kyoto to Edo, collected one volume each of seasonal haiku, kasen and 100-verse poems, and one volume of solo kasen poems from various poets with whom he had close acquaintances. This book is extremely valuable in learning about the Tenwa style, from "jiin" to "minashiguri," and also shows the editor's attitude of conforming to the haiku style of Basho and others.
