A town in Minami Saitama County, eastern Saitama Prefecture. Located on the west bank of the old Tone River, it produces rice, vegetables, and fruit. Kyoho grapes are a particular specialty. Tobu Railway runs through the town, and Tobu Dobutsu Koen Station is the junction of the Nikko Line and the Isesaki Line. Tobu Dobutsu Park is located here. Area: 15.95 km2 .
