Manatsubi (English spelling) Tropical day

Manatsubi (English spelling) Tropical day
A midsummer day is a day when the maximum temperature is over 30°C. In Tokyo, there are an average of 46 midsummer days per year (average from 1971 to 2000), and this number has tended to increase in recent years. A midwinter day is a day when the maximum temperature is below 0°C. There are similar words, summer day and winter day, but a summer day is a day when the maximum temperature is over 25°C, and a winter day is a day when the minimum temperature is below 0°C. A tropical night is a night that is as hot as in the tropics and difficult to sleep, and since weather statistics often show that the minimum temperature is observed before dawn, it is considered a day when the minimum temperature is over 25°C. A scorching hot day is a day when the maximum temperature is over 35°C.
