Mastiff [Breed] - Mastiff
A breed of dog. Males stand at least 75cm tall, females at least 69cm. A guard dog native to Tibet. Most of the world's giant dog breeds today are based on this dog or have some blood in common with it. It has a large head and short, sturdy fur. Its coat comes in light colors such as apricot, brown, and tiger-hair, but its ears and muzzle are dark. The muzzle in particular is best when it is close to black. It has a quiet, gentle personality and is good with people.

イヌの一品種。雄の体高75cm以上,雌は69cm以上。チベット原産の番犬。現在の世界の超大型種のほとんどはこのイヌを基礎とするか血をとり入れている。頭部は大きく短毛でたくましい。毛色はあんず色,茶,虎毛など明るいが,耳と口吻(こうふん)は暗色。とくに口吻は黒に近いほどよい。もの静かで穏和な性格で,人によくなれる。
