Born June 1, 1912. Founded the Kochi branch of the Japan Proletarian Writers League in 1931. Joined the Young Communist League the following year. Published anti-war poems "Living Gun Rack" and "Song of the Kanto Partisans," and attracted attention. After repeated arrests and incarceration, he died of illness on September 3, 1938. Age 27.
