[Died] August 17, 2002, Moscow, Russia. Russian director and actor. He was one of Meyerhold's direct students, and in 1957 he became the principal director of the Moscow Satire Theater. His representative works include Mayakovsky's The Bath (1953), The Bedbug (55), and Mystery-Bouffe (57).
