The official name is the Folger Shakespeare Library. It is an American library famous for its collection of books related to Shakespeare. It is located in Washington, DC. The foundation of the library was initiated by Henry Clay Folger (1857-1930), who served as chairman of the Standard Oil Company and was a lifelong collector of rare books related to Shakespeare.
