In the Middle Ages, it was the Hamaichi in front of the Shitennoji temple in Osaka. In the early modern period, it was the riverbank of Dojima in Osaka, where a rice market was held. Also, it was a person involved in the rice market. ※Teikin Orai (c. 1394-1428): “Bonkyo townspeople, hama merchants, Kamakura customs.”④ In Go, a stone removed from the board.
