A Chinese painter from the early Southern Song Dynasty. Dates of birth and death unknown. A Jinshi (official scholar) from the Shaoxing period (1131-1162). He painted people, landscapes, and Buddhist statues, and while he belonged to the Northern School of painting, he also adopted the techniques of the Southern School of painting, establishing his own unique style.
