A Joruri commentary book from the mid-Edo period. Five volumes, five books. Written by Miki Heiemon Sadanari (Ranko). Published in 1738. The corners are "comments and notes on Joruri phrases." The commentaries are on nine pieces: "Gosho Sakura Horikawa Youchi Attack," "Ohatsu Tenjinki," "Abe no Munenori Matsuura Kinugasa," "Hojo Tokiyori-ki," "Otomo no Shintori at the Daidairi," "Kokusenya Kassen," "Karukaya Doshin Tsukushi no Iedzuto," "Ashiya Doman Ouchi Kagami," and "Otonomiya Asahi no Yoroi." The book includes explanations of the titles, explanations and comments on phrases in the text, and a general commentary. The book begins with "The Beginning," which contains an interview with Chikamatsu Monzaemon that is said to have been written by Hozumi Ikan, and amongst which is a section on the thin line between reality and fiction, which is invaluable in understanding Chikamatsu's view of art.

江戸時代中期の浄瑠璃評釈書。5巻5冊。三木平右衛門貞成 (蘭皐) 著。元文3 (1738) 年刊。角書 (つのがき) は「浄瑠璃文句評註」。『御所桜堀川夜討』『お初天神記』『安倍宗任松浦きぬがさ』『北条時頼記』『大内裏大友真鳥』『国性爺合戦』『苅萱桑門筑紫 (かるかやどうしんつくしのいえづと) 』『芦屋道満大内鑑』『大塔宮曦鎧 (おおとうのみやあさひのよろい) 』の9編の評注で，名題の解説，本文中の辞句の説明と評，総評などを掲載。巻頭に「発端」があり，穂積以貫によるとされる近松門左衛門の聞き書きを所収，そのなかの虚実皮膜論 (きょじつひにくろん) は，近松の芸術観を知るうえで貴重なもの。
