A town in Toyono District, northern Osaka Prefecture. In 1977, Higashinose Village was renamed and incorporated as a town. It borders Minoh City, Ibaraki City, and Nose Town. Its center is Yono. The town area is part of the Oinosaka Mountains, and there are many forests. Rice farming is the main activity. Area: 34.34 km2 . Population: 21,989 (2010).
