Japanese: トユク石窟 - トユクせっくつ

A Buddhist cave temple in Shanshan County, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China. In China it is written as Tuyukou. It is located in a gorge in the Flame Mountains that border the north, east of Kara-Khojo. It was investigated by DA Clements in 1898, A. Grünwedel in 1907, and MA Stein in 1916, and also by A. von Le Coq and the Otani Expedition, but only a part of it is known. In addition to the caves, a mud-brick temple was also built in the open space on the cliff. The main hall has a flat ceiling with a triangular corbel structure expressed in color, and the side rooms have vaulted ceilings.

中国，新疆ウイグル自治区鄯善県にある仏教石窟寺院。中国では吐峪溝（とよくこう）と記す。北方を境する火焰山の一峡谷中にあり，カラ･ホージョ東方に位置する。1898年D.A.クレメンツ，1907年A.グリューンウェーデル，16年M.A.スタインが調査し，A.vonル･コックや大谷探検隊も調査したが，一部が知られるにすぎない。石窟ばかりでなく，断崖の空地を利用して，泥煉瓦による寺院も構築された。主堂は平天井に三角持送り構造を彩色で表現し，側室群はボールト天井を架す。
