〘名〙① (形動) 丈が長いこと。特に、衣服などが身長に比べて長めであること。また、そのさま。※雑俳・川柳評万句合‐天明元(1781)仁二「かうしんの夜はたけ長におよぶなり」※めぐりあひ(1888‐89)〈二葉亭四迷訳〉一「丈長な鼠色の衣服や」② 和紙の一種。奉書紙の類で、紙質が厚く、縦一尺八寸三分(約五五センチメートル)・横二尺四寸七分(約七五センチメートル)のもの。丈長奉書。※浮世草子・けいせい伝受紙子(1710)五「たとへば楊枝一本たけ長(ナガ)の紙一枚でも半助が物を買てやれ」③ ②を細長く切って平らにたたみ、元結(もとゆい)の上に装飾用として結んだもの。平元結(ひらもとゆい)。※評判記・色道大鏡(1678)九「たけながのもとゆひ紙を折て、文かきやりたる傾城あり」
