〘Noun〙 (On reading of "Takumi - ryo") 1. An office outside the Imperial Court that belonged to the Ministry of Central Affairs and was in charge of utensils and artisans in the Imperial Court and was in charge of decorating the palace buildings. Established in 728. In charge of the artisans in the palace. ※Otogi-zoshi, Bontenkoku (late Muromachi period) "When King Bonten presented them with his own handwritten seal, they thought it was mysterious and placed it in the Naishaureu storehouse." 2. A bureau established in 1885 in the Imperial Household Ministry. It was in charge of civil engineering, artisans, and gardens for the Imperial household.

〘Noun〙① = Uchi no Takumi no Tsukasa (Inner Takumi Bureau) [Iroha Jiruisho (1177-81)]② A bureau of the Imperial Household Ministry. Established in 1885 , it was in charge of architecture, civil engineering, and gardens. Between 1904 and 1914 , garden-related matters were separated into the Naien Bureau (originally a "bureau"). In 1945, it was abolished with the establishment of the Tonomoriyo (Office of the Lord of the Palace) . [Imperial Household Ministry Official Regulations ( 1907 )]

Our Takumi-no-Tsukasa [Takumi-ryo]

〘Noun〙 An official not subject to the Imperial Law. Belonging to the Ministry of Central Affairs, it was involved in the production and decoration of furnishings. Established in the 5th year of the Jinki era (728 ) . Later it merged with the Office of Casting, the Office of Painting , and the Office of Lacquer Works . In addition to the four ranks of officials below head, the office included eight historians and 20 messengers. Takumi-ryo. *Sandai-kaku 4, 21st July, 5th year of the Jinki era (728), "One Head of the Takumi-ryo" *Wamyo-sho, Vol. 20 (around 934), Vol. 5, "Takumi-ryo (Uchinotakuminomamekasa)"

〘名〙 (「内匠(たくみ)寮」の音読み)① 令外の官司で、中務省(なかつかさしょう)に属し、宮中の器物・工匠のことをつかさどり、殿舎の装飾などにあたった役所。神亀五年(七二八)設置。うちのたくみのつかさ。※御伽草子・梵天国(室町末)「梵天王の自筆の判を参らせければ、不思議さよとて、ないしゃうれうの蔵に納められけり」② 明治一八年(一八八五)宮内省に置かれた一部局。帝室の土木、工匠や庭園のことをつかさどった。

たくみ‐りょう ‥レウ【内匠寮】

〘名〙① =うちのたくみのつかさ(内匠寮)〔色葉字類抄(1177‐81)〕② 宮内省の一部局。明治一八年(一八八五)に設置され、建築・土木・庭園に関することをつかさどった。庭園に関することは、同三七年から大正三年(一九一四)の間、別に内苑寮(はじめは「局」)として分離したこともある。昭和二〇年(一九四五)、主殿寮(とのもりょう)の設置により廃された。〔宮内省官制(明治四〇年)(1907)〕

うちのたくみ‐の‐つかさ【内匠寮】

〘名〙 令外(りょうげ)の官。中務省に属して調度の製作、装飾に従った。神亀五年(七二八)設置。のちに典鋳司(てんちゅうし)、画工司(えだくみのつかさ)、漆部司(ぬりべのつかさ)を併合。職員に頭以下の四等官のほかに史生八人、駈使丁二〇人などがある。たくみりょう。※三代格‐四・神亀五年(728)七月二一日「内匠寮頭一人」※二十巻本和名抄(934頃)五「内匠寮〈宇知乃多久美乃豆加佐〉」

たくみ‐づかさ【内匠寮】

〘名〙 =たくみりょう(内匠寮)①※源氏(1001‐14頃)桐壺「さとの殿は、すりしき・たくみづかさに宣旨くだりて、になうあらためつくらせたまふ」
