Ishifu (English spelling) I‐Sa‐bu
A military commander of Silla, Korea, from the end of the 5th century to the middle of the 6th century. Dates of birth and death unknown. Family name Kim or Park. Also known as Gyeongjong or Yijong. Under the three kings Jijeong, Beoheung, and Jinheung, he was always active on the front lines of territorial expansion. When the first Silla province, Sijikju (Samcheok), was established in 505, he became its military leader and controlled the northeastern frontier, and went on to conquer Usan (Ulleung Island). Later, he attacked Geumgwan Gaya (Gimhae) in the south, and in 41 he became the Minister of Military Affairs and took command of the national army, conquering Goguryeo and Baekje, and in 62 he pacified the Gaya countries. The National History was also compiled based on his recommendations.

5世紀末から6世紀中ごろにかけての朝鮮,新羅の武将。生没年不詳。姓は金あるいは朴。一名,苔宗,伊宗。智証・法興・真興の3王のもと領土拡張の前線でつねに活躍した。505年新羅最初の州,悉直州(三陟)がおかれるとその軍主となって東北辺境を治め,すすんで于山国(鬱陵島)を下した。のち南に金官加羅(金海)を攻め,41年兵部令となり国軍を統轄,高句麗・百済を攻略し,62年加羅諸国を平定した。また,その建議によって《国史》が編纂された。
