A former town in Kita Matsuura County, Nagasaki Prefecture, consisting of Takashima and Kuroshima islands at the mouth of Imari Bay. Rice, tobacco and fruit are cultivated here, and gravestones are manufactured here. The town was the site of a devastating storm that hit the Mongol army during the Koan Invasion, and Miyajidake Historical Park commemorates this event.
