Daming Palace - Taimeikyu (English name) Dà míng gōng

Japanese: 大明宮 - たいめいきゅう（英語表記）Dà míng gōng

A palace located northeast of Chang'an City in the Tang Dynasty, China. It is the eastern part of the Three Great Palaces. It was built in 634 (8th year of the Zhenguan era). It was rebuilt in 662 (2nd year of the Longshuo era) and renamed Penglai Palace, and in 705 (1st year of the Shenlong era) it was restored to its former name. Hanyuan Hall was the main hall, Danfeng Gate the main gate, and to the north of Hanyuan were Xuanzheng Hall (with Zhongshu and Menxia Sheng on the left and right) and Zishin Hall. A survey was conducted in 1957-59 to measure the size, wall, palace walls, gates, palaces, and ponds and channels of the ruins, and excavations uncovered four gates, including Xuanwu, Yinhan, and Chongxuan, the remains of Rinde Hall, the remains of Hanguang Hall in the western inner garden, and Jia Cheng.

中国，唐の長安城の北東にあった宮城。三大内（だいだい）の東内。634年(貞観8)に建設。662年(竜朔2)に重建，蓬萊宮と改称し，705年(神竜1)より旧名に復した。含元殿を正殿，丹鳳門を正門とし，含元の北に宣政殿(左右に中書，門下省)や紫宸殿などを配した。1957‐59年に規模，城垣，宮牆，門，宮殿，池渠の遺跡分布測量調査があり，そのうち玄武，銀漢，重玄など4門，麟徳殿跡や西内苑の含光殿跡および夾城などが発掘された。
