Name of a Chinese country. [1] One of the feudal states of the Zhou dynasty that lasted until 379 B.C. The state was invested by King Wu of Zhou to Lu Shang (Taigong Wang). It ruled Shandong. In the 7th century B.C., Duke Huan's policy of enriching the country and strengthening the military made it one of the Five Hegemons. In the 29th generation, its state was usurped by its chief vassal, the Tian clan. Jiang Qi (江星) . [2] One of the Seven Warring States ( 379-221 B.C. ). It was founded when the chief vassal, the Tian clan, usurped Qi, which had existed since the beginning of the Zhou dynasty. It is also called Tian Qi to distinguish it from the former. Destroyed by the Northern Zhou. [5] During the early Southern Song period, the Jin dynasty ( 1130-37 ). Founded by the Jin general Zong Han with Liu Yu, a vassal of the Southern Song, as emperor. Ruled Shandong, Henan, and Shaanxi, but was abolished after Zong Han's downfall.

中国の国名。[一] 紀元前三七九年まで続いた周代の諸侯国の一つ。周の武王によって呂尚(太公望)が封ぜられた国。山東を領有。前七世紀に桓公の富国強兵策により五覇となった。二九世で、重臣の田氏に国を奪われた。姜斉(きょうせい)。[二] 戦国の七雄の一つ(前三七九‐前二二一)。周初以来の斉を、重臣の田氏が奪って建国。前者と区別するために田斉とも呼ばれる。山東を領有。前四世紀後半に最盛期に達したが、前二八四年燕に敗れて国力が傾き、秦・趙に圧迫され、やがて秦に滅ぼされた。都の臨淄を中心に商業活動が盛んで、刀貨が流通し、学問も栄えたので、諸子百家の中心地となった。[三] 南北朝時代、南朝の第二王朝(四七九‐五〇二)。通称は南斉。宋の武人蕭道成(高帝)が宋の順帝の禅譲により建国。蕭(梁の武帝)に国を奪われ、七代で滅んだ。[四] 南北朝時代、北朝の王朝(五五〇‐五七七)。通称は北斉、高斉。東魏の高洋(文宣帝)が建国。北周に滅ぼされた。[五] 南宋初期、金の建てた王朝(一一三〇‐三七)。金の将軍宗翰が南宋の降臣劉予を皇帝として建国。山東、河南、陝西を領有したが、宗翰の失脚後廃された。
