Diptera, Syrphidae. Body length 13-14mm. Body is black with dense gray-brown or black long hairs, but the color of the hairs varies widely. Wings are transparent. Hind femurs are enlarged. Larvae feed on bulbs of daffodils, gladioli, lilies, etc. Found in Europe. 双翅目ハナアブ科。体長 13~14mm。体は黒色で,灰褐色ないし黒色の長毛を密生するが,毛色に変化が多い。翅は透明。後肢腿節は肥大する。幼虫はスイセン,グラジオラス,ユリなどの球根を食害する。ヨーロッパに産する。 (→ハエ , ハナアブ )
