Silla pottery - Shiragi-doki

This type of pottery is a gray-blue, dark black hard pottery found in the southern part of the Korean peninsula. It is so named because it was found in large quantities in the high-mounded tombs of Silla. It was fired at a fairly high temperature, and its decoration and patterns show unique techniques.
