This theater is located in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. It was originally located in a corner of Plaza de Mayo, but the current building was built in 1907 in response to the increase in immigrants in the 1880s. Upon entering the main entrance, the entrance hall is said to be beautiful, with a white marble mosaic floor, majestic handrails and pillars made of red and yellow marble, and stained glass on the ceiling. The main hall has a stage bordered by a crimson curtain and seven stories of horseshoe-shaped seating. The ceiling dome features a mural by Raul Sordi, and in the center shines a huge chandelier with a diameter of 7 meters. It is one of the theaters with the best acoustics in the world, and is counted as one of the three great theaters in the world, along with the Paris Opera and La Scala in Milan.
