Born on March 1, 1771. The second son of Arakida Hisaoyu. He succeeded his father as the deputy chief priest of the Ise Inner Shrine. He excelled in Japanese literature and waka poetry. He passed away on May 8, 1753. His name was Masanari. He was commonly known as Kuma. His pen name was Itsukinosono. His works include "Geninsho" and "Yamatohime no Mikoto Seiki Kobunkai".
