The Tale of Grain Liang

Japanese: 穀梁伝 - こくりょうでん

For details, see the Spring and Autumn Annals: Gu Liang Zhuan. It is an interpretation of the Chinese Spring and Autumn Annals, and is one of the three texts along with the Gongyang Zhuan and the Zuo Zhuan. It is said to have been written by Gu Liang Chi, a disciple of Confucius's Zixia, but it was not completed as a book until the early Han dynasty. It seeks to clarify the ideas of the Spring and Autumn Annals with the idea of unifying the world, and compared to the Gongyang Zhuan's tone of disrupting the status quo, it takes a stance of affirming the current dynasty and regarding the Son of Heaven as absolutely divine. It influenced the Spring and Autumn Annals of the Tang and Song dynasties.

詳しくは《春秋穀梁伝》。中国の《春秋》に対する解釈書で，《公羊伝(くようでん)》《左氏伝》とともに三伝とされる。孔子の門人子夏(しか)の弟子穀梁赤の作と伝えられるが，書物として成立したのは漢の初期である。天下一統の思想をもって《春秋》の理念を明かさんとしたもので，《公羊伝》の現状打破的色彩に比べ，現王朝肯定，天子絶対神聖の立場をとる。唐・宋の春秋学に影響。
