Continuing credit relationship

Continuing credit relationship
Generally, credit relationships are extinguished when the debtor makes a one-time payment, such as a lump-sum payment of the purchase price, and thus achieve their purpose. However, if A rents out a building he owns to B for a monthly rent of 50,000 yen, the debt relationship (or credit relationship, from A's point of view) regarding B's payment of rent to A will continue for a fairly long period of time. In other words, in addition to the basic obligation of B to pay 50,000 yen per month to A, a specific obligation arises to pay 50,000 yen every month on a set date.
