A member of the Mammalia class, Order Artiodactyla, Family Camelidae. It is found in South America, from Peru to Patagonia in Argentina, and lives in grasslands, semi-desert areas, and mountainous regions. Its body shape is similar to other species in the llama genus, but it is 1.5 meters long, 1 meter tall at the shoulder, 25 centimeters long at the tail, weighs 50 to 100 kilograms, and is covered in long, woolly hair. Its hair is dark yellowish brown on the upper side and white on the underside, and its face is blackish. It lives in small groups of one male and 4 to 10 females, and when danger approaches, it will run at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour. Its main diet is grass.
