Mirror image

(1) When there are two points that are symmetrical with respect to a line or plane, one is said to be the mirror image of the other. (2) If there is a circle with center O and radius r on a plane, and a point P other than O on the plane is on a half line OQ, and OP×OQ＝ r2 , then the two points P and Q are said to be in the mirror image position of each other with respect to the circle O. （１）一つの直線または平面に関し対称な２点があるとき，一方を他方の鏡像という。（２）平面上に中心O，半径rの円があり，平面上のO以外の点Pが半直線OQ上にあって，OP×OQ＝r2であるとき，２点P，Qは円Oに関し互いに鏡像の位置にあるという。（１）は（２）でrが無限大の場合に相当。
