Kirishima ebine - Kirishima ebine

An evergreen perennial plant of the orchid family (APG classification: Orchidaceae). The leaves are slightly thinner than those of Calanthe. The flowers are white to pale pink, do not open much, and open downwards. The lip petal is three-lobed slightly forward, the tip of the middle lobe is pointed, and there is a long, thin spur 1.5 to 1.8 centimeters long. It grows under evergreen forests in Kyushu, Shikoku, the Kii Peninsula, and the Izu Seven Islands. It is also distributed in the Korean Peninsula, Taiwan, and China.
