A deciduous climbing plant of the Vitaceae family. Also known as the Triangular Vine. It has the same leaf arrangement as grapes, with branches growing opposite the leaves. Sometimes it transforms into a curling vine. The leaves are triangular-ovate. It is dioecious, and the fruit is a spherical berry similar to the wild grape that ripens black and is edible.
