People who are tired of it are forgotten by the flowers .” ※Tsurezuregusa (around 1331) 113 “She sparkles with the intent of entertaining the guest.”[Essay](1)In the Chinese classics, it is written as “kyoo” which means “to quickly respond to someone’s words or actions, just as a reverberation occurs in response to a voice,” and this is considered to be the original meaning.
(2) In Japan, the meaning ① was born from the original meaning, and as the emphasis shifted to "making the other person happy," the meaning ② was derived, and along with that, "hibiki" came to be written as "kyo." "Kyo" is a substitute character in modern writing.
