...It is distributed from Hokkaido to Kyushu and further into Korea. The one with yellow flowers is called Kibanakawamatsuba f. asiaticum . The one with densely hairy ovaries and pale yellow flowers is called Ezonokawamatsuba var. trachycarpum , and is found widely from Hokkaido to East Asia.
