Kinesa School

...The third generation Kineya Kangoro (the third generation of Kineya, the second generation of Kangoro) is said to be the founder of Nagauta shamisen, and since then, the Nagauta shamisen school that bears the name Kineya has produced many branches, and since the Meiwa period (1764-72), it has become an overwhelming force in the Nagauta world. Currently, the school has its head, Kineya Rokuzaemon, as well as Eizo (Kineei school), Katsusaburo (Kinekatsu school, Katsu school), Kisaburo, Sakichi (Kinesa school, Samon), Shojiro, Yasaburo, and Rokusaburo (Ikenohata school), each of whom has their own school as head of the school.
