Kinugasa Cave

...This is one of the scenic spots in San'in Kaigan National Park, and is known for its magnificent scenery of cliffs, strange rocks, caves, and joints formed by sea erosion. Among the most famous are Yoroigasode, which resembles a suit of armor with a mixture of columnar and plate-like joints, and Kinugasa Cave, which is 148 meters deep. The only way to explore it is by boat, and it is inaccessible in winter when the sea is rough.
