Hypermnesia
A phenomenon in which a person easily recalls things that would normally be unremembered during a hypnotic state or fever. This is also called hypermnesia. It is also seen in patients with schizophrenia and mania (→ manic depression). In addition, some people with savant syndrome may show remarkable memory for certain objects.
